Who is eligible for TMS?
Candidates for TMS typically:
- Have not responded to at least two antidepressant medications.
- Have a diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) or another approved condition.
- Do not have a history of seizures, implanted metal devices near the head, or other contraindications.
How does insurance coverage for TMS work?
Most insurance plans require prior authorization and a referral before approving TMS treatment. Insurance approval generally depends on diagnosis and previous treatment information. At this time, we are able to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna/Evernorth and Tricare.
Once approval is received, patients can be scheduled for treatment. If insurance denies coverage, we are able to explore appeals or private pay options. See information below to contact us for questions or to start the process for treatment!
