Taylor Hayden is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in North Carolina. He attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN, where he studied Psychology and minored in history and religion. In 2016 he graduated with his Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Taylor has a great passion and an emphasis in working with adolescents and families. His approach to counseling is influenced by a Biblical worldview, as well as brief solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and existential therapies. Currently, Taylor’s counseling is geared towards working with adolescent males who are dealing with issues such as anger, addiction, identity development, relationships, suicidal tendencies, depression, and loneliness. Taylor is also a certified Prepare-Enrich Marriage Facilitator for Marital, Pre-Marital and Parenting assessments.
Taylor is the oldest of 8 children and grew up in Northern Virginia. He has been married for six years to his wife, Rebecca. Together they previously worked with high school students and their families in YoungLife as Taylor was an Area Director for YoungLife in Langley and McLean, Northern Virginia. Some of Taylor’s favorite past-times include playing basketball, playing and listening to music, fishing, hiking, reading, and spending time with Rebecca.
