Michael Jacobs is dual certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). He uses his background in both psychiatry and medicine to implement total-person care that is patient centered, individualized, and evidence based. Michael holds a holistic philosophy of health as an overall state of mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing, and not simply the absence of illness. He views treatment as a partnership between the patient and provider built on mutual trust, and engages in patient education and collaboration to allow for shared decision making.
