Ian is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern. Ian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Theology and Biblical Studies from Liberty University. Ian has worked as a youth pastor and as a service provider for social services. He has experience working with individuals and families who were experiencing anxiety, anger, depression, parenting issues, and low self-esteem.

Ian uses an integrative approach in therapy which includes person-centered, motivational interviewing, strength-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapies. Ian believes in a non-judgmental, safe, and collaborative therapeutic environment. He sees deep value in every person and seeks to walk with clients on their journey towards reaching their goals. Ian also offers counseling from a biblical perspective for those who wish to incorporate it into sessions.

Ian recently moved from Pittsburgh, PA to the Raleigh area. Ian, his wife, and two teenage daughters enjoy serving in the local church and being outdoors. Ian and his wife also enjoy traveling, playing with their three dogs, and exploring NC.
