Drew Klobuchar graduated with his Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Religious Studies from Mercyhurst University in 2014 located in Erie, PA. Drew then obtained his Masters of Social Work from Edinboro Unversity in 2017. Throughout his educational career, Drew worked full time in hospital, community, and school mental health settings with children and adults.
Drew’s calm demeanor, compassion, and sense of humor provides a comfortable atmosphere for clients. He empathizes with the patient to ensure they feel welcomed and can leave each session with a sense of accomplishment.
Drew has experience in various settings including community mental health, working in a psychiatric hospital, and in a residential treatment facility. He frequently works with clients who struggle with their self-esteem, anxiety, regulating after trauma-related experiences, substance use, depression, unhealthy power and control, mood disorders, behavioral struggles, and hypersexual behaviors. Drew typically utilizes therapeutic interventions including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person-centered, acceptance and commitment therapy, and various other methods.
Drew grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he gained a passion for his beloved sports teams. Drew is a diehard Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates fan and is usually wearing black and gold when he’s not in the office. He enjoys competition, as he frequently plays in local adult hockey leagues, and he enjoys other sports activities including golfing, fishing, softball, and biking.
