She has also conducted trauma-focused group therapy with children and adolescents within inpatient settings. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and severe mental illnesses. She works from a client-oriented approach, meeting where the client is at and working together in the therapeutic process. She has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on how thinking, behavior, and emotions interact with each other.
After growing up on the West Coast and going to school in Chicago, she is excited to call Raleigh home. She enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, playing with her pets, and spending time with loved ones.
