Chasity Scoggins is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and is excited to be counseling in North Carolina after 3 years of serving in behavioral health in Virginia. She received a Masters Degree in Counseling (2016) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (2013) from Regent University in Virginia. She also has a graduate certificate in Counseling Trauma from Regent University.

Chasity works with adults and adolescents through individual therapy for concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, relationships, and life issues. She has also facilitated group therapy for substance abuse, anger management, and domestic violence.

Chasity believes counseling can help people better understand themselves, communicate with others, change habits, and regulate emotions. Whether it is to help short term decisions or stress or to process past hurts and beliefs, she is passionate about using counseling to heal and uplift others. Chasity uses an integrative approach including person-centered, mindfulness-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapies. She seeks to meet each client where they are and offers a biblical-worldview to those who wish to incorporate it in counseling.

Chasity was raised in North Carolina and loves outdoor activities. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, serving with youth at church, ballroom dancing, and reading.
