I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University in 2015 and went on to obtain my Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University in 2021 to become a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I’ve always had a strong interest and desire to help children and adolescents navigate their mental health issues, and I truly empathize with this patient population. The severity and worsening of the pediatric mental health crisis became very apparent to me as I completed my clinical hours during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, motivating me to specialize in pediatric and behavioral health to help better understand and address the unmet mental healthcare needs of our youth. I specialize in medication management for a variety of pediatric mental health disorders, following evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience. I’m passionate about providing quality, comprehensive, and individualized care for each patient to come up with the best treatment plan.
